2025 Indiana Summer Camps!

2025 will feature 3 different exciting programs:

MARS! - Apply your STEM skills to save the Mars Sample Return mission! Activities will include soldering, 3D CAD, rocketry, programming robots, and building payloads a High-Altitude Balloon launch.

SATELLITES! - Learn how the NearSpace Launch engineers design and build their satellites, then make and test fly your own! Activities will include soldering, 3D printing, the PDR and CDR process, programming payloads and flight computers, and taking charge of all aspects of the High-Altitude Balloon test flight.

OVERNIGHTS! - In this extended program, campers will combine the best activities from the Mars and Satellites sessions as they spend an entire week at the world headquarters of NearSpace Education in Upland, Indiana. They will arrive on Monday and depart on Friday (transportation to and from the Indianapolis Airport will be available) and will stay in the Taylor University dorms. 

 

PRICES:

     Mars and Satellites Day Camps: $695.00 per week

     Overnight Camps: $1,095.00 per week

     A $30.00 nonrefundable deposit will be required to reserve a spot. Financial aid may be available depending on donors and sponsorships.

 

REGISTRATION:

     Step 1 - APPLY: Fill in the Google form at this link to apply for your camp spot. 

     Step 2 - REGISTER: Our staff will review the applications and send links for the $30 deposit and the full registration package to those selected, based on student interest and space availability. 

     

    Other Quick Facts:

    • Day Camps (Mars and Satellites) meet Tuesdays through Fridays, 9am to 3pm.
    • Overnight Camps meet Mondays through Fridays, with activities throughout the days.
    • Designed for students entering 6th -12th grade.
    • Space is limited to 24 students per week.

    • Week 2 - Satellites: Tues. June 3 - Fri. June 6
    • Week 3 - Overnight: Mon. June 16 - Fri. June 20
    • Week 4 - Mars: Tues. June 24 - Fri. June 27
    • Week 5 - Satellites: Tues. July 8 - Fri. July 11
    • Week 6 - Overnight: Mon. July 21 - Fri. July 25
