Join Us for Five Weeks of Space Exploration and Summer Camp Fun!
This year’s theme is Making Space. We have opened our new NearSpace Education facility and makerspace, equipped with advanced manufacturing and STEM tools including laser scanners, laser cutters, pick and place machines, CNC machines, 3D printers, microelectronics stations, soldering stations, and more. Students will learn to use this equipment as they explore aerospace, engineering, and satellite concepts.
Each camp week leads up to a real high altitude balloon launch where students fly their own experiments into the stratosphere. After recovery, they analyze their results and see the impact of their work. It is a hands on and unforgettable experience that brings real space exploration to life.
